The hotel was quite nice, spacious and located at the beachside of Tanjung Kling.  The room that we stayed has a separate bedside area, living hall and pantry area, complete with dining table….so suitable for big family members..

In my opinion, Melaka is a really well structured tourism city.  It has everything to offer, right from the colonial kind of tourist attractions, up to modern “state of the art” tourism points.  Best of all, there are located within walking distances.

Once you are in Melaka, don’t forget to try this “3-wheel trishaw” ride.  The fee ranges from RM10 – RM20 per ride, depending on your negotiation skill.

KL City Centre – KLCC is one of our favourite place to hang out.  It is reachable by train..preferred transportation other than our own car.  But, most of the time, we drove our own car to that place.  Still, it was convenience due to its ample parking space…. it has  5,400 parking bays….Where did I read this???

Most of the time, we almost spent a whole day there.  But of course, the most time spending was not at shopping galleries…..we were forced to go out of the building….KLCC Park and Playground.  By who?? …..You know WHO!!

We plan to go for SkyBridge Tour at KLCC Tower but unfortunately, the pass for that day is unavailable anymore.  The tour is FREE but only limited to 1,640 visitors per day.  If you plan to walk in the sky, better be fast.  Be there as early as 9am as the visiting hours start from 9am to 7pm, from Tuesday to Sunday.

Other attrations at KLCC are Petrosains and Aquaria - a huge aquarium…I mean it…it’s as HUGEE as 60,000 sq ft.  The entrance fee for Aquaria is RM38/adult and RM26/kid.  But for those with MyKad (Of course, you have to be Malaysian to own MyKad), the rate is RM28/adult and RM22/kid.

As for Petrosains – The Discovery Centre, it is located at the 4th floor of KLCC.  Your kids may like the place as it’s full of discovery, science projects kind of thing. 

So, plan your weekend ahead and make your move to KLCC.

Most of the time, our hotel accomodation is free since we joined the Vacation Ownership Scheme, therefore, all that we have to worry are dining and travelling.
